Teltonika OBD trackers plug straight into the vehicle's diagnostic port. No cut wires, no auto electrician, no modification to the vehicle — which also means the device simply pulls out at the end of a lease or on resale. This is the right choice for rental vehicles, test fleets, leased company cars and any case where permanent installation is not possible or not permitted. Three models are available, differing in two things: whether they read vehicle data, and which network they use. FMB010 is the most basic. It tracks location, trips and stops but does not read vehicle data. If you only need to know where the vehicle has been, it does the job. FMB003 and FMC003 do read data. Through OBD protocols they obtain the real odometer and actual fuel level from the vehicle, plus up to 32 other parameters. The real odometer matters wherever mileage is billed — a GPS route always differs slightly from the vehicle's own counter. The difference between them is the network: FMB003 runs on 2G, FMC003 on 4G LTE Cat 1 with 2G fallback. For vehicles travelling outside the region, choose FMC003.
